THE DIVERGENT TRILOGY by VERONICA ROTH review

 This trilogy, the Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth takes us to a dystopian Chicago world, where society is divided in five factions, where each faction has a purpose in their world and every person has a distict virtue. Candor- the honest, Abnegation- the selfless, Dauntless- the brave, Amity- the peaceful and Erudite- the intelligent. Sixteen year old Beatrice, born abnegation, is at the age where she has to choose which faction she belongs. Every person at age sixteen has to go through a simulation that will help them decide what to choose. But Beatrice's simulation is inconclusive and she has to choose between staying with her family, or being who she really is. After she made her choice, she has to go through tough training. But her simulation resaults keep coming up the same and she is informed that she is in fact Divergent, a person that belongs in more faction (as said in the first book but explained more later). In this world they made, she is something that is feared and hunted to kill. So she must hide who she really is.Something not easy since a war is coming and she can't be controlled as everyone else is. In order to avoid spoilers I will not talk about book 2 and 3. A TOUCH OF POISON by AARON KITE review

A book I fell upon recently called A Touch Of Poison by Aaron Kite or Ironkite. It talks about Gwenwyn, a princess, who is not a typical princess. Fed from childhood a special herb, she now can't even touch anyone or even brush her exposed skin with someone because her skin is poisonous. A simple brushing is enough to cause painful burns and even worse. She has learned to cover herself,stay away from everyone, and just hope that one day she can be cured. But her father has other plans for her. Hungry for power and wanting more land, he is forsing her to marry a prince, and kill him with just a single kiss. Not knowing what to do and forsed ,not only by holding something very precious to her as a burgening tool, but with a spell that keeps her from explaining her deadly "gift", she is trying to do everything to save not only herself from her father,and what is at stake but also the innocent prince from death. THE MOON TRILOGY book one MOONLIGHT by TIM O' ROURKE review

Since  Tim O' Rourke is my favorite author, I was very excited when I got the chance to read the first book of The Moon Trilogy called Moonlight. When I first saw the cover I thought it was a booki for a younger audience. But no! It is a book about vampires and lycanthrope. And before you say that you have read tons of books and seen lots of movies about vampires and wareworves, I have to say that this book has a new way of showing these creatures to you and an original story to go with them! In this book we see eighteen year old Witer being homeless in London. One night a handsome stranger offers her a job at his house. She has to clean and cook for him. She will live in the house and get payed. But he has a few curious habits. He asks her to do a few weird thing. Like wear his late wife's clothes in sit by the window and read. She finds these things very strange. But little does she know that there are dangerous thing outside and that he puts her life in danger just by asking her to go to his house. I finished the  book in 2 days, and that because I had things to do and couldn't read all day! So I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!! THE COVENANT SERIES by JENNIFER L. ARMENTROUT review

 Sorry about the books positions but I did not want to spend all day in that!!!!  This is the Covenant series by Jennifer L. Armentrout and it has actually five books and two mini books in it. The book "Daimon" is the book 0.5. A start to the series. Book 1 is "Half-Blood", book 2 "Pure", books 3 "Deity", book 3.5 "Elixir", book 4 "Apollyon" and the final book 5 "Sentinel".  The Covenant series is all about Gods, demigods, Titans, pures, half-bloods and daimons. In the series we find Alex, a girl that is half-blood. The union between a God and a mortal produces the Hematoi. The children of 2 Hematoi are calld pures or pure-bloods and they have god-like powers. Children of Hematoi and Mortal produces half-bloods. Half-bloods have two option. Either become Sentinels, trained warriors that hunt and kill daimons, or became servants for the pures. Alexandria prefers to die than became a servant. Her dream is to become a Sentinel. She was away from the Covenant for so long but now she returned and she doesn't have a lot of time to learn everything she needs to know in order to graduate. And while she want to focus on her training, her stubornes and her growing crash for a pure-blood is making that difficult. Especially since the pure-blood Aiden is her trainer. And forbiden to even think about him.  That is mostly the first book "Half-Blood". In order to avoid spoilers that is where I stop. But if you like the first book, you are going to love all of them!! TANGLED SOULS by JANA OLIVER review

Tangled Souls by Jana Oliver. A book I just finished and enjoyed very much. It has everything. Mystery, suspence, love, goasts,spirits,witches, dirty cops....! Gavenia Kingsgrave is a psychic. And a wiccan. She talks to the dead and helps them pass over to the other side. Her gift brought her to a rich mans house, where his son refuses to pass until he sees his dog. The only problem is that the dog is gone. And a soul that young and inoccent has a lot of  "wolves" interested about him.
On the other hand, former homicide detective Douglas O' Fallon has a psychic gift himself, but he refuses it. Hired by a client to prove that Gavenia is a con artist, he is more determent to prove that she is. Because if her gift is genuine, then he has to accept his own gift that he's been denying for ever. When the two cases interdect and Gavenia and O' Fallon have to work together, the find out that opposites attract, and they will do everything to help each other. With their cases and with themselves. Don't want to spoil anything so I stop right there, but this book keeps you on your toes all the time!
